thank you…..

THANK YOU! These two words don’t do justice for the appreciation we feel for those who are working tirelessly on the front lines, for those who have reached out to help someone else and for those whose compassion and gratitude have made someone smile. In a time where we all feel so distant from one another, the Brydon & Ives Team feels extremely blessed and proud to live here in Lamorinda where we have regularly witnessed beautiful moments of kindness right in front of us, on Nextdoor, on Lamorinda Families and through stories shared with friends. We will get through this together and be stronger for it!

Keeping Lamorinda Schools On Top

Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda are fortunate to have strong Education Foundations to ensure our students are receiving top notch education programs…even when California school budgets are getting cut.

Lafayette Partners in Education
www.LPIE.org
For more than 33 years LPIE has been supporting Lafayette’s public schools to ensure students always receive an education rich in science, math, music, art, technology, foreign language, electives and humanities. LPIE also provide funding for support services such as instructional aides, counseling, professional development, and more. Working with the Lafayette and Acalanes school districts, they identify areas for investment in core academics and enrichment, supporting programs and efforts that might otherwise go unfunded.

Education Foundation of Orinda
www.OrindaEFO.org
Building on a tradition of strong community support for educational excellence in Orinda’s schools, the Educational Foundation of Orinda provides financial support for quality programs and enrichment opportunities which directly benefit students in the Orinda Union School District and at Miramonte High School.

Moraga Education Foundation
www.MoragaEducation.org
Moraga Education Foundation (MEF) is a nonprofit organization that funds programs in Moraga schools. These programs benefit the students attending Camino Pablo, Donald L. Rheem and Los Perales Elementary Schools, and Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School in the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School in the Acalanes Union High School District. MEF’s goal is to support and enrich the educational experience of all Moraga school children in kindergarten through twelfth grade (including students from Lafayette who attend Campolindo).

Proud To Be A Part of This Wonderful Company!

APR $10.5 Billion Sold in 2013

Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) had a record year in 2013 with closed sales volume of $10.5 billion, a 19% increase over their sales in 2012, despite constrained inventory. Additionally, four individual APR offices – Los Altos, Los Gatos, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto – all had over $1 billion in closed sales in 2013.

APR outperformed the market in both number of sales and dollar volume. While in the Bay Area, the industry average number of closed sales was down 5%, APR surpassed the market by 14%, with 9,107 closed sales, up 9% over their 2012 numbers. In addition to increasing their market share, the firm also achieved an average sales price of $1,151,940, up 9% over 2012.

“We benefit from being a family-owned company that has a community feel while achieving a global reach,” said Rainy Hake, APR Executive Vice President. “Our strategy to be customer-focused and our mission to continually redefine the way real estate is done has helped us achieve success year after year.”

The 2013 numbers come on top of the firm’s other successes last year, having been ranked the fifth largest residential real estate firm in the United States for a second consecutive year based on 2012 sales volume, according to REAL Trends. The firm had a closed sales volume of $8.8 billion in 2012, a 23% increase over their sales in 2011.

Alain Pinel Realtors looks forward to continued growth in 2014, focusing on reimagining the real estate customer experience both locally and globally. APR will do this with new technology tools, accelerated agent training, and innovative marketing opportunities while focusing on their customized personal connection to their clients.
